PoliciesRaid Schedule These are the standard scheduled nights for the raid: Feathermoon is in the Pacific time zone. Any changes to the scheduled nights will be posted in advance. If you cannot make a scheduled or changed night, or you will be late, you must post in the Attendance forum or inform a raid officer via PM or ingame mail ASAP. 24+ hours notice and a post in the Attendance forum is preferred. Ask us for a number if you feel you may need to contact an officer directly. If it is a last minute situation and you cannot notify a raid officer directly, notify someone else in the raid or someone that can notify someone in the raid. If you give a time-frame for your tardiness (i.e. 15-20 minutes), and go beyond that, we are not likely to hold your spot beyond that time-frame. Invites start 20 minutes before raid start time!! Be outside the instance by 15 minutes before raid start time
and ready to go. Ready to go means that you have all necessary buff foods, potions,
flasks, bandages, reagents, shards, resist gear, etc. and are fully repaired. We are on a tight schedule, with people from many different time zones. If you know you are going to be late, logout outside of the instance with all your gear, consumables, etc. so that you're ready to go when you log on. Summons will not always be available once we are inside the instance. Main raiders are expected to attend 85% or more of the scheduled raids with plenty of notice given for any absences. Failure to inform raid personnel of intended time off will potentially result in a loss of a raid slot. Repeated infractions will result in removal from the raid. Loot Distribution Loot is distributed via a Loot Council. Raiders are required to fill out a wishlist in the Raid History section of the website to be eligible to receive loot on a priority basis. Crafting patterns will be distributed to those with longevity (or perceived longevity) with the raid. Crafted BoE items will be distributed to those with longevity (or perceived longevity) with the raid. Regular raiders have priority, then subs. Then alts at the discretion of the raid officers. Required Mods All raiders: Paladins: Consumables All raiders are expected to come prepared to each raid. That includes bringing all of the needed consumables: buff food, flasks, potions, bandages, reagents, etc. Plan on spending each raid fully flasked unless notified otherwise. Also, fish feasts are usually provided by some of the more generous in the raid, however, you should use the stat food that best suits your class. Do not rely on others to provide your food. Ventrilo It is REQUIRED that you be on Vent. You don't have to have a mic (though it can be really really helpful!), but you do need to be able to listen. Vent info will be posted in raid chat before each raid. There will be cases where it will be very helpful to say something. Strategy Sites It is required that you come to each raid understanding each boss fight for that night. Success requires that the entire raid be coordinated, working together, paying attention and know what they're doing to succeed. Guilding For those interested in joining the Remnants guild, raiding with us is the first step. Feel free to ask for an invite after a few weeks of raiding. Two guild privileges are limited repair funds and limited access to flasks for raiding. As Cataclysm gets closer, the guild leveling system will make the guild structure more appealing and we have a long term goal to increase our membership in order to advance as a guild. These policies are subject to revision at any time. Last updated: 9.30.09 |
